It's not... damn kids and house have gotten in the way. Also, my little free time has been spent going to LeMons races, so I don't have it that bad.

The interior is maybe 2/3rd of the way stripped out. Pretty soon I'll need to get it into the garage, which is rough because then my M5 will have to sit outside... which I'm not thrilled about.

Front end needs to come off, then engine/trans out so I can get the wheel well repairs and the frame checked/straightened. Hoping I can have it at least HPDE-ready by late summer.

I asked because I may be doing a similar thing, except I may just mod it OEM+ (CSL lite I guess) instead of a track car. There's an e46 with I believe a bad smg and some minor front end damage I may get for cheap.

A few of the GTS3 guys (including a multi-time champ) run SMG cars, but they seem to be more trouble that they're worth unless you know how to work on them yourself.

With tax returns coming soon, I want to get it stripped soon so I can at least get it over to the frame shop and fab shop for repairs/cage work and make some progress. Every time I see it, it makes me sad that I haven't touched it in weeks.

ugh, there's a little two bay shop right up the road from my house that I always want to buy, but the land is too expensive right now and some tax company bought it.

I'll likely just swap a 6MT in if I can get it cheap enough.

The lead cars' trajectory being higher than the following one is cute, though. I know they didn't have wings, but they didn't make that much lift.
